Wage increases:
Collective bargaining begins for the 2003 through ??? contract approximately January 02, 2003.
DPSST Certification:
For Intermediate certificates add 3% to base wage.
For Advanced certificates add 6% to base wage.
Bilingual:
When an employee is assigned to interpret to or from another language to
English, add 4% to base wage.
Flex Positions (Vacation Relief):
Employees assigned to Flex Positions will receive 5% added to their base pay.
Work out of Classification:
Employees assigned to a position at a higher level classification may receive a
one step increase or the bottom step of the higher salary range when no salary
overlap exists between salary ranges.
Shift Differential:
For all hours of any shift which starts between 12:00 noon and 2:00 am, $.50 per
hour will be applied towards pay.
Vacation Leave:
Hire date to five (5) years of service fifteen (15) days per year
After fifth (5th) year through tenth (10th) year eighteen (18) days per year
After tenth (10th) year through fifteenth (15th) year twenty-one (21) days per year
After fifteenth (15th) year through twentieth (20th) year twenty-four (24) days per year
After twentieth (20th) year twenty-seven (27) per year
